In the Gardens works to enhance health and well-being in areas with limited access to fresh food and beyond in three ways:
Edible Organic Garden Design and implementation is offered for one’s school, community, congregation, home or office. The home site’s organic, edible, permaculture landscape is used to educate, employ the needy, share and celebrate, with 80% of the food harvested donated to the hungry.
Mindfulness Practice is offered through daylong retreats and courses, one-on-one trainings, and classes in your business or community.
The Mindful Gardens Project℠ uses mindfulness practice as a foundation for design and implementation of edible organic gardens in areas with limited fresh food access and other communities.
