We’ve rescheduled our Huddle for next week, Tuesday, March 7. See the links below for details.

Since the Women’s March, I have felt compelled to continue to act for the betterment of our society and country. I am particularly concerned about inclusivity as it refers to issues of economics, race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation. I am concerned about climate change and the world that our children inherit. And of course, I am concerned about hunger and need. So I decided to participate in The Women’s March 10 Actions in the First 100 Days. We began with writing postcards. What’s next is a Huddle in Melrose Park, a “Next Up Huddle.”

What is a Next Up Huddle? During February and March, we will gather together in our neighborhoods and begin to transform the energy we saw at Women’s Marches into local and national deeds. This is a step toward a country and world filled with safety, caring, compassion and wholeness.

Our Huddle will be a positive, inclusive, and action-oriented local meeting where marchers and allies can gather together to define our next steps and then act on those steps.

You are invited to participate. Join us at the Huddle in Melrose Park, or seek one out in your own community. Check here for huddles near you: www.womensmarch.com/100/action2/

Your voice and your ideas matter. Come and bring friends. Let’s partner to bring more good into our neighborhood and our world.

Can you join me? Click here for details and to RSVP: actionnetwork.org/events/huddle-in-melrose-park-take-2.

Thanks and hope to see you there, or to hear about your huddle in your area,

Rabbi Robin Damsky
